APPLICATION / FEATURES :
1. An insulator clevis is a type of Pole Line Hardware used in electrical power transmission systems. It is designed to connect an insulator to a crossarm or a pole. The insulator clevis is made of high-strength steel and is galvanized to protect against corrosion.The insulator clevis has a U-shaped design with two arms that are used to attach the insulator to the crossarm or pole. The arms of the clevis are designed to fit snugly around the insulator and are secured with a bolt and nut.
2. FOSO® Insulator clevises are available in different sizes and designs to accommodate different types of insulators and poles. Manufactured from ANSI/IEEE Std C135.20. Spool insulators to be ordered separately. All components are Hot dip galvanizedto meet ASTM A153 specification.
3. The secondary clevis comes with strict quality control and is punched with clevis pin and flat steel that strings the pool insulator. The secondary clevis, also known as the dead end clevis, is a D shaped iron D bracket. The electrical clevis has the main purpose for low voltage dead end or an overhead line.
4. All components are Hot dip galvanized to meet ASTM A153 specification.
